So how about this for PvE bonder?
Attribute layout = ?
Kephkets Refuge + Ascetics + Runes (depending on what the attributes would be)
Life Barrier {E}
Life Bond
Sig of Devotion
Balthazars Spirit
Blessed Sig
Mantra of Inscriptions
Reversal of Fortune
Divine Spirit/Aegis/Mend Ailment/Mend Condition/Remove Hex
Thoughts? This build would be going into UW/SF/FoW

Sounds fine. To me Bonder is pretty straightforward.

Attributes:
(11 +3 +1) = 15 Protection Prayers
(10 +1) = 11 Divine Favor
10 Inspiration Magic
Reasoning: Life Barrier at 16PP reduces damage by 52%. At 15, 50%. 2% isn't very much and allows for you to dump points elsewhere. Like Inspiration.
I'd drop RoF and put in a res. Rebirth is a bad idea as it makes all your bonds drop, but the idea is to use it only as a last resort to recover from a near-party wipe.
Take Mend Condition or Ailment, you'll find it useful.

might want to find a way to throw essence bond in there every now and then when the time calls for it, but overall a good build.

Where do you get Life Barrier? I have SoJ and Spell Breaker (and sig of judgement) but I can't find many other monk elites.

Why? Life Bond + Balthazar's Spirit + Blessed Signet + Mantra of Inscriptions should more than enough. I find Essence Bond to be overkill.

Here is my build:
(Protection Monk) Mo/Me
-Life Barrier
-Life Bond
-Mantra of Inscriptions
-Blessed Signet
-Balthazar's Spirit
-Life Attunement
-Heal Area
-Healing Seed
Protection Prayers 10 (+1)
Healing Prayers 10 (+4)
Divine Favor 12 (+2)
Inspiration 10
Life Bond/Barrier on whole party in Grenth's Footprint and Balthazar's Spirit on yourself.
In Sorrows you just throw Life Barrier/Bond/Attunement on the warrior and put Balthazar's Spirit on yourself so that you can Heal Area on the minions to keep as many alive as possible for the duration you are down there. Healing Seed is also for the warrior as well so that the other monk can focus on straight heals.
I show you because in all honesty when i did do SF runs (5 man of course) i found this to be absolutely perfect in every which way. I havent found a single way to improve upon it an i thought you might like to see it.

thanks for all comments
I'm not willing to give up a skill slot for a res, unless i'm in a 3 or 4 man team, chances are if im in 5 or more man team someone else (or multiple ppl) will have res

I just take some Henchies along in the mountain area between Ascalon and Kryta (Ice Tooth Cave, Yak's...etc). You'll be high enough level and your armor will be good enough that you really won't have to worry about yourself, just the Henchies. You'll be amazed how much better things go with you bonding. I've done every mission and all the quests I've accepted with all Henchie parties and this was by far the easiest it's been (pre-DoTAoE nerf).
For bad enchantment stripping, go right outside of Sanctum and watch your enchants go the way of the dodo.

Thunderhead keep. There's knockdown to keep things interesting and a few mesmers to ruin your day with enchant removal at usually the worst possible time. That said, bonding makes that mission very easy.

well if your doing SF or any other place with the gear/keg trick you can also go Mo/R, heres what I use:
-Life Barrier
-Life Bond
-Vital Blessing
-Life Attunement
-Balthazar's Spirit
-Blessed Signet
-Holy Veil
-Symbiosis
16 prot, 11 divine, 8 beast mastery
cast all the enchants on the tank and then symbiosis, he gets around 1500 max health =)
holy veil is to take care of rust, can be switched to a rez skill.

I just finished Hell's Precipace being the bonder, and I had some learning experiences while do so.
1) Tell your team to skip the Cutscenes. Long cutscene = bond lossage. If you don't, they'll start running off afterwards with no bonds on themselves.
2) First priority is of course watching the energy bar, but you still gotta be carefull of enemies that work themselves through your party and head straight for you. I died twice due to that on this mission, almost losing it for my team.
3) After a while you'll end up knowing who needs both life barrier and life bond instead of just life bond. For instance, I ended up taking off barrier on the monk and slapped it on the lead tank. Boy did he ever need it.
On a side note, I don't think I'll ever leave without reversal of fortune in my skillbar, playing healer or bonder. It comes in handy so many times, like casting it right before Word of Healing, which might give you enough time to save someone from a deadly spike. As a bonder, it's my only personal defense against a monster that goes for me, even though it's rarely used.
